HOW IT WORKS

Register and we create your store

Fill in the registration form. Once we receive your registration one of our team member and partners will be in touch to create your store and have you trade online within 1 week should you provide us all your products images, prices and company details. Our partners will liaise with MCB for your MID and will sync all your product onto our marketplace.

You now have a new sale channel and e-store

Once you have registered your business, it is time to create your store and upload all your products. We will help you upload all your products and show you how to best present them on our marketplace in order for you to get more orders. Our marketplace is equipped with a CRM which shows all orders received and even lets you create a product catalogue, create coupons for promotions and much more.

We promote all your products and new online store

You now have your own online store on the popular Bazar.mu marketplace. Upload as many products, share and promote your new online store onto your personal Facebook Account or Company Page. We highly recommend you also start doing your own email marketing and share your new store URL www.Bazar.mu/store/brandname or product links onto all your social networks in order to grow engagement and product awareness about your new business online store.

Manage your orders and process your deliveries

You now can manage your store products, orders and reviews. After receiving our notification of a new order and payment you will then need to proceed with the delivery of your product. Make sure the item gets to the client via the selected delivery option. If you have selected to work with FedEx or Bongeni you must liaise with their staff for pickup and delivery. The order will mention the buyers details, you now have a new customer in your database make sure you contact them to let them know about future promotions.

Here are some common questions about selling on Bazar.mu

How do I trade on Bazar.mu?

To have your own store and trade on Bazar.mu we charge  two membership packages

1- For SME’s – Rs5,000 + VAT. This fee is to create all your store, upload your unlimited products.

2- For Retailers and Big Brands – Rs10,000 + VAT.  Any extra work or services is extra fees. Excludes store management, email marketing, digital banners, video and SEO/SMO. We can provide you with a quote for your special needs.

3- Vendors must provide all their products images and prices to be uploaded on Bazar.mu. Once you have your sore you will have two options to charge your new clients directly via JUICE/IB/PAY ON DELIVERY or if you have selected to an external link to your own ecommerce site you process the payment and take care of your delivery.

4- If you need Delivery Partners, we have partnered with FedEx/Bongeni.

What do I need to do to create a store?

It’s easy to set up a store on Bazar.mu.
  1. Register to be able to create a store
  2. Fill in all information, upload your logo and banner, Facebook page, set your shop location.
  3. Once this is done we will bill your monthly fee, once that paid our team will upload and categories your unlimited products.

How do I get paid?

You will get new orders and will charge your new clients.

If you have a directly link to your e-commerce store you take the payment directly.

Do I need a credit or debit card to create a shop?

No, a credit or debit card is not required to create a store. To be verified as a seller SEM’s pays Rs5,000 + VAT and Big Retailer / Brands Rs10,000 + VAT  to create and have their store on Bazar.mu

What can I sell on Bazar.mu?

Everything, we provide a unique multi vendor marketplace for all Mauritians and Expats to trade online. We welcome all registered businesses from vegetable growers, local crafters, artists and collectors to sell their handmade creations, vintage goods (at least 20 years old), and both handmade and second-hand, food, office supplies, furniture, electronics, white goods, spices, wines, alcohol, car gadgets, pet products, fashion outlets, gifts and souvenirs stores.
